Appeal Trust winds up
The Cyclone Gabrielle Appeal Trust was established to receive and distribute donations to communities, hapū, iwi and marae impacted by Cyclone Gabrielle and flooding in January and February 2023. The over $14 million raised funded recovery and disaster preparedness projects in Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, East Coast and Hawkes Bay regions and the Tararua district.
All the Trust funds have been distributed. The Trust has no further reason to exist and has been disestablished.
